Dr. Mackayla Johnson is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Manitoba and is a registered member of the Manitoba Naturopathic Association and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Having first received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Manitoba she knew she wanted to further her passion for health. Dr. Johnson went on to obtain her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON, Canada.
Dr. Johnson recognizes the importance of education and ensures her patients are equipped with the necessary tools and confidence needed as they move through their unique healing journey. She believes that an individualized approach to health care is important to identify the root cause of disease and dysfunction. Dr. Johnson always strives to learn more and stay up to date on the latest research. As a result, she can ensure the best possible care and treatments for her patients.
Dr. Johnson maintains a general family practice with interests in treating digestive concerns, pediatrics, thyroid disorders, anxiety, hormonal health, mental health, stress, fatigue, and weight management. She enjoys using all areas of Naturopathic Medicine including Botanical medicine, nutritional guidance, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and lifestyle counselling.
When she is not with patients, you can find her spending time in nature, learning about differential botanical herbs, enjoying coffee with friends and spending time with family.
